Jazz Technique: *Mandatory for Competitive Acro Classes

Class will focus on Jazz Technique. This technique involves using the whole body to communicate musically and typically sharper movements. It is a fun genre of dance and usually has upbeat music and dance steps.
Lyrical/Contemporary Technique:
45 Mins/Week
Class will not participate in year end performance or competitions.
Class will focus on 2 different dance techniques:
Lyrical - is all about flowy movements and dancing out a storyline. Some of it is hard hitting but lyrical is mostly about flowy and expansive movements.
Contemporary - is more hard hitting, quirky movements that also tell a story. Some of it is about flowy movements, still moments, breath work, and then sharp movement.
Both of these techniques work on facial expressions, telling a story, and using our bodies to create that story.
